December Grading

Tora Karate Academy held another kyu grading in December and due to such a large number of students taking part we had to split grading into two days. It all went really well with 40+ full kyu grades being awarded (the results were announced on the following Sunday). Congratulations again to everyone.

It is important that you keep training and coming to as many sessions as you can so that you can progress in your karate and achieve the results that you want.

Roku Dan Award to Sensei Robert Herincx

With enormous pride we announce that Sensei Robert Herincx has been awarded Roku dan (6th Dan), by the British Karate Association. It was fitting that he received this well deserved grade during our Sunday awards session which was attended by a record number of students and fellow Instructors.

Christmas Lunch

As it is a Tora custom, we also met for our regular Christmas lunch where our students and their families could catch up and have some fun. It was nice too see such a large number come along, a well deserved lunch after a year of working hard.

Holiday Break

Our last session this year will be on Sunday 18/12/2016. We will have a short break (the only one in whole year) and training will resume on Friday 06/01/2017.

Have a nice holiday and a good rest, we will see you back in the dojo in the New Year.

Merry Christmas Everyone!
